Day 1 of 300 Subs in 30 Days for FREE!

Today I have set up my squeeze page, this page that you’re reading, the welcome email, and a Facebook post that I will share in some of the groups I’m a part of.

What I did was look at the groups I am a part of and found a post that was getting engagement and asked ChatGPT to create a similar post tailored specifically to list building.

Then, I went backwards to find out what I needed to do before I send out a post that I couldn’t make good on and I received instructions on the steps I am telling you about right now.

I don’t know for sure if this will work or not but, follow along and see what doesn’t work if I fail or do what I’ve done and see the kind of success I am experiencing.

This is day 1 and I don’t know exactly what I’m doing nor what is going to happen.

In the past I have used Solo Ads to build a list of around 1500 subscribers but then I failed to make anything good happen with it, I made 1 or 2 sales and a huge debt for myself to deal with!

Now, I want to use some of the info I have learned over the years, the power of AI and free resources like social media and, although I am already paying for it, an AWeber account.

You can get a free AWeber account to start and once you outgrow the free account you can choose to pay for it or go a different route.

When you click on the FREE AWeber trial from my referral link I may earn a commission if you stick with it and purchase a paid AWeber account when it makes sense to do so. It is Free forever if you have less than 500 subscribers.

The following is the exact question I asked ChatGPT to get me started:

I’ve noticed that the post on Facebook Groups that says, “Promote your business link to get consistent leads” gets likes and comments, how can I make something similar to get traffic to a squeeze page?

Then I asked:

What should I have ready to go before sharing this in groups?

The post it gave me was:

Here’s the response to what I should have ready:

Before sharing your post in groups, it’s essential to have the following elements ready to ensure a smooth process and maximize your success:

1. Squeeze Page or Landing Page

    • Clear, focused copy: The squeeze page should align with the offer in your post. Ensure that your messaging is clear, highlighting the value and benefits (e.g., building an email list quickly for free).
    • Compelling headline: The headline should grab attention and promise a benefit right away (e.g., “Build Your Email List in 30 Days with Free Tools”).
    • Lead capture form: Have a simple, easy-to-fill-out form asking for their name and email address.
    • Thank You Page: After they submit their email, redirect them to a confirmation or thank-you page where they can access the promised guide or additional information.

2. Free Guide or Resource

    • Freebie prepared: The content you promised, such as a step-by-step guide or checklist, should be ready for delivery. You can either send it automatically upon email subscription or via a link on the thank-you page.
    • Downloadable format: Ensure that your guide is in a user-friendly format (PDF, document, etc.) that’s easy for subscribers to access.

3. Follow-Up Email Sequence

    • Confirmation email: Once they opt-in, set up an automated confirmation email that thanks them for signing up and delivers the free guide or link.
    • Engagement emails: Prepare a few follow-up emails in case subscribers engage with your content. These can share additional tips on email list building, or a soft introduction to any other offers you may have.

4. Tracking Links

    • UTM tracking: Use UTM parameters in your squeeze page link to track where your traffic is coming from (whether it’s from a Facebook group post, Pinterest, etc.).
    • Analytics: Ensure you have Google Analytics or a similar tool set up to track conversions and actions taken on your page.

5. Group Posting Strategy

    • Engagement plan: Have a plan to engage with those who comment on your post. Be ready to respond quickly to “YES” replies to build rapport and guide them to the squeeze page.
    • Group research: Know which Facebook groups or online communities are most active in email marketing or entrepreneurship niches. Make sure your post fits the group’s guidelines to avoid it being removed.

6. Additional Resources for Interaction

    • FAQ or follow-up responses: Have a list of possible questions or comments people might ask, such as “How does this work?” or “Is this really free?” Be prepared to answer these in a helpful and transparent way.

By having everything set up and ready to go, you can share your post and engage with potential leads seamlessly, without delays that could cause you to lose interest or momentum.

You should have been directed to my “squeeze page” when you responded to the post I made, if not, or if you want to copy what I did, you can find it here:
